Can Lis, the home Jørn Utzon built for his family on Mallorca, was acquired by the Utzon Foundation in 2011 with the aim of preserving the house and making it accessible for study and working stays.

The Utzon Foundation rents out Can Lis to architects on a weekly basis during the summer. For seven months of the year, working residencies at Can Lis are granted by Danish Arts Foundation.

The Utzon Foundation are unable to grant residencies, nor is the Foundation involved in the competitive application and selection process for the residencies granted by Danish Arts Foundation.
